Texas trip....

I just got back from a great trip to Texas - I have been trying to get down there for the last few years to visit with some college friends and finally made it! I was there nearly a week and flew back yesterday. Unfortunately, Andy had to stay home and work this time.

I flew into Dallas and my aunt and uncle picked me up. It was great to see them and they drove me to my grandmother's house. I spent the night at my Grandma Lou's house and then had a great day on Friday hanging out with her. I also spent the evening on Tuesday and Wed. morning with her before I headed home - so nice to get to see her since I don't get to very often.

My grandma and her century plant that just recently started to bloom.
It will probably grow to be a lot taller than her house!

Then Friday evening, my college friend, Starr, came to Dallas and picked me up. We drove down southwest.....to the middle of nowhere Texas to visit our other friend Kristie. We had so much fun together! Starr is getting married this summer and we were helping her out with some wedding plans and I took some bridal photos of her in her gorgeous dress.

Love these girls!
(we just missed our other college roomie, Becki - who couldn't make it this time)

Me and the bride-to-be

Had to get a bluebonnet photo!
Back to my Texas roots....I lived in Texas as a child.

Such a fun trip - so glad that I got the chance to visit my family and friends in Texas!

  3. Hi. Found your blog through the comments on the military spouse blogging community. My husband is originally from Dallas and we're planning on moving back there in a few years once he's out of the military. Looks like you had a good trip :)
