things are changing...

Let’s face it.

There are a lot of things that are crazy about my job as an Assistant Station Manager for the American Red Cross Services to Armed Forces.

The beauty of my job description is that its not a matter of if you are going to be deployed but when.

Well, after 3+ years that when is now.

My bags are being packed, and I am bound for Kuwait. This is going to be a 4 month assignment and I will become the master of building sand castles. Abi and Maggie won’t be able to go for the adventure, but we are all thankful that it is a much shorter deployment than a lot of military and their families regularly endure.

Abi is going to share the blog with me so that I can share some of my adventures while I am away. I will post as often as I am able to, but will of course not be able to share a lot of specifics due to the nature of the deployment. Abi will also have my contact info in anyone would like to get in touch with me while I am away.

Here is a video describing a little of what I will be doing:

Thank you for all of your support and prayers over the next few months - Abi and I really appreciate it.

- Andy
