laid back concert weekend...

On Satuday, we both got up early and ran errands. In the afternoon, I went with a friend to a neighboring town's street fair to see one of her friend's jewelry booths. We had fun walking around and I got this fun ring.

In the evening, Andy and I went to a Vince Gill concert. I wasn't all that into Vince Gill, but he was playing in our little town so we decided to get tickets and go.

It was all lawn seating and we went a little early and got great seats.
It was a very laid back concert and we were able to take in a cooler with drinks and snacks.

Andy was excited about even being able to bring in his own (small amount) drink.

I was more excited that Coldstone was one of the vendors and I got this amazing
apple pie carmel apple.
So. Good.

The concert was pretty good.
Andy really enjoyed it and we were glad we got to go
to a concert that close to us and in such a nice location.
I was battling a migraine most of the weekend so I was a little out of it.
Luckily it wasn't too crazy, loud, concert.

We were also thinking about our mothers this weekend and wishing we were closer to be able to see them on Mother's Day. We are so thankful for all of them - Andy's mother, his stepmother, and my mom.  They are each amazing women and we are so thankful for all they have done for us and that they are in our lives.

I'm especially thinking of my mom this year - she has a lot on her plate with my 16 year old brother and keeping up with his busy schedule, her job as a hospice nurse, and helping my dad as he is still recovering from knee surgery and blood clots. And now my grandmother (my dad's mom) is recovering from being in the hospital last week and my mom is also taking care of her. We are praying for all of them and especially for my mom to have the strength to do everything she's doing.
